
How to get there
Below you find some travelling tips for getting to our bases in Tromsø and Lofoten.


Tromsø
The harbour is about a 10 min drive from the airport. In Tromsø we normally offer shuttle service to the harbor as part of the charter.
By airline
There are about 10 daily departures to Oslo, by SAS and the low cost airline Norwegian.
There are flights to Svalbard, and the city has connections to Murmansk and Arkhangelsk several times a week. In summer, there may be flights to Stockholm as well.
SAS commuter airline Widerøe has routes to several other North-Norwegian airports. Both Widerøe and Norwegian offer a direct route from Tromsø to Bergen. Widerøe offers a summer route to Sandefjord. Both SAS and Norwegian have a route, via Bodø, to Trondheim.

Lofoten /Svolvær
The harbour is about a 5 min drive from the airport. Unfortunately, this year BY cannot offer shuttle service to the harbor, but taxi are easily available.
By airline
The most convenient way to get to Svolvær is by plane via Bodø. There are daily flights between Bodø and Lofoten / Svolvær all year round. Flight time is 20-30 minutes
Bodø airport serves many domestic flights, from the larger cities as Oslo and Trondheim.

By airline and bus
There are daily flights between Oslo Airport and Harstad/Narvik Airport Evenes all year round. Flight time is approx. 1.5 hours. From Evenes you can take the Lofotenekspresens (Boreal Transport route number 23-760) bus to Svolvær. There are 3 daily departures each directions and the ride takes less than 3 hours. By car
LOFAST is the ferry-free road link between Lofoten and the mainland . The drive from Evenes to Svolvær takes about 2.5 hours. Motorists can follow the E10 to Lofoten.
Express boat from Bodø
There are daily express passenger boats between Bodø and Skrova/Svolvær all year round, all days except Sundays. The journey takes about 3½ hours.
The Hurtigruten Ships
North- and southbound Coastal Voyager call daily at Svolvær. There are many possibilities to board Hurtigruten around the Norwegian coast.
How to go between Tromsø and Svolvær
By airline
Direct flight (commuter) or via other airports are possible. Several daily departures.
By bus
One departure daily in each direction, changing buses in Narvik. (11 hours)
Hurtigruten
The Coastal Voyager (Hurtigruten) Departs daily Tromsø and Svolvær. ( 17 hours).
Speedboat and bus
It is possible to go by speedboat between Tromsø and Harstad and further with bus between Harstad and Lofoten. 3-4 departures daily. (7 hours).
