Sailing to Spitsbergen - Svalbard

• Svalbard is a very interesting area and its uniqueness  has played important roles  in many aspects;  polar expeditions, history, politically it is unique and it is the ultimate sailing heaven
• It is possible to visit  Svalbard in July and August
• Sailing at Svalbard requires arctic knowledge and experiences
• Boreal Yachting has extensive experience in chartering bare-boats and skippered trips to Svalbard

Our sailing yachts can be hired as bareboats or with skipper / instructor.

When hiring a BAREBOAT, a responsible person on board must document knowledge and skills in seamanship and sailing. As a safety precaution, one other member of the crew must be able to manage the boat.

Boreal Yachting can offer experienced SKIPPERs on trips for an active crew wanting to enjoy the Arctic Norway. Preferably at least one of the crew should be able to sail the vessel.

For sailors wanting to get acquainted with Arctic Seas, it is possible to hire a INSTRUCTOR/GUIDE for a shorter period of time (one or more days) in order to become familiar with the boat and the local waters.
