The areas are sparsely populated and not under human pressure which makes it perfect for hunting.

You will find white grouse (mountain grouse) as well as willow grouse. Grouse are normally seen as “mountain birds” but in this rough nature you will find their nesting place on the shoreline.

In Norway you will need a hunting license and a permission to carry a shotgun and you have to pay a small hunting fee to the authorities.
